WHAT I WANT NOW!!!!!!!!!

Though the spending freeze is over I am trying to not go crazy....but its so difficult! Here is something I want now. Not now but right now!

I have been lusting over these shoes for about a month. I think I am going to eventually break down and get them. I mean it has leather, suede, platform and studs...... everything and I love them all.

I'VE FALLEN OFF THE WAGON

You know how they say "No news is good news", well I think it's a lie! No news means you're hiding something. It seem that I have something in common with Lindsay, Whitney and Amy Winehouse and I have a confession to make. On May 18th I broke my spending freeze and purchased an item. I started my day like any other but somehow I found my way to Gilt (how fitting) and before I knew it my act of shame had been committed. I have experienced such guilt that I have not even looked at my blog as I felt such shame. It's crazy because I missed so many aspects of blogging including visiting my friend's blog but I felt that if I visited someone else's blog my secret would come to light. As of today I am totally at peace with my spending as I think 4.5 months of not shopping was pretty impressive. That being said, I think the entire experience has been eye opening and I have learned so much about myself. I plan on going on a much longer spending freeze in july which I hope takes me into the following next year.

I can finally visit a few of my favorite blogs and not feel any shame. I am thankful to all of you for your encouragement when I was on the ledge because I wouldn't have made it to 4.5 months without you.

It feels so good to be back.

DECISIONS DECISIONS

For those of you who have been following/reading/subscribing/stopping by since day one, you know that a major part of my blog is tracking and curbing my compulsive spending. Tomorrow, April 1st 2010 it will be 3 solid months of 100% no shopping. Now I was wondering if I should reward myself with a "keep up the good work" purchase. TWO MONTHS AND COUNTING

Hello everyone, I'm back. Its been wayyyyy too long but I'm back, now back to business.

Its been two months 3 days since I last shopped and it wasn't very hard until today. I have finally figured out that I am an emotional shopper and today my emotions were all over the place. I walked by Free People to get lunch and they had the cutest beige ruffle cropped blazer. As soon as I saw it i feel in love.

Immediately I thought "f the spending freeze" and walked into the boutique. Just the thought of getting the blazer made me feel so much better. As I walked around the store I thought "If I'm gonna break my pledge I might as well make it worth it" so I walked around the store picking up everything that called my name. This is strange because pieces by Free People are usually to much like hippie clothes to me. Anyway, as I headed to the fitting room it dawned on me that I needed to get back to work, so I asked the sales associate to hold the items for me. Luckily after work I felt a little better so I purchased a white chocolate Toblerone bar for a quick fix. That worked so I was safe.....that is until I got home and looked at Bluefly's new arrival. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wanted everything, bags, shoes, dresses, swim suits, everything! I pulled out the remainder of my Toblerone chocolate and 540 calories later I only felt the need to have one item. Check 'em out.

Are they not the most perfect accessory for your feet?

Overall I think I'm doing well, though I don't see where the money I save goes. I'm ready for a congrats gift for making it thus far. How about the Miu Miu flats I love? Okay so maybe not but I think I need a reward for making it this far. What do you think?

Well I should go do some situps or something but I'm not.
